ZICUSO BC Youth Development Program
Supporting Youth in Reaching Their Highest Potential
At ZICUSO BC, our programs are culturally appropriate and tailored to the age groups. The Youth Development Program empowers pre-teens, teens, and young adults by providing opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive. Whether it’s building confidence, learning essential life and job skills, or creating positive school and social experiences, our programs are designed to support young people at every stage. Through engaging activities and a strong sense of community, participants gain practical tools, develop a sense of belonging, and, most importantly, have fun along the way. ZICUSO BC is a charity organization that promotes the education and development of skills in youth and young adults through participatory learning. Our community-driven programs are designed to foster good citizenship and build enriching life skills for youths and young adults.

Equipping Youth to Reach Their Goals and Dreams
The ZICUSO BC Youth Development Program is designed to support the personal, social, and professional growth of young people across British Columbia. Our goal is to equip youth with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to navigate life’s challenges, succeed in school and the workplace, and become active, engaged members of their communities. Through structured activities, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities, we create a supportive environment where youth can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Youth Board Mentorship Program
This program is specifically designed to introduce young leaders to the responsibilities, expectations, and strategic functions of serving on a board. It aims to equip them with foundational knowledge of governance structures, ethical decision-making, and the collaborative role board members play in guiding an organization’s mission and impact. In this program the mentee and mentor choose the topics they want to discuss and determine the SMART goals on each.
