Refugee Support
In collaboration with DIVERSEcity and other non-profit organizations, this program supports refugees from central and
southern Africa to settle in the South Fraser region of BC. Our organization provides culturally appropriate food items,
as well as information and resources needed by newcomers to successfully integrate into the South Fraser Region and
communities.
Member organizations of the South Fraser Refugee Readiness Team meet regularly to discuss and address the needs of
newcomer refugees and displaced Ukrainians. Despite the sharing of information on resources these organizations also
ensure that there is no unnecessary duplication in the support of newcomers.
